Viking Glory will be using automooring equipment
Today
Viking Glory will use the new automooring system installed in the Port of Turku. Cavotec’s MoorMaster is an automated mooring system that uses vacuum pads. The system has already been installed in Viking Line’s berth, but has not yet been taken into use. The automated system will be used by both M/S Viking Grace and M/S Viking Glory.
The mooring system affects the vessel turn-around times and efficiency. In addition, it contributes to the management of the environmental impacts of vessel traffic and the occupational safety of personnel.
