Welcome to the Port of Turku stand at the Transport Logistic trade fair

The Transport Logistic trade fair is one of the most significant logistics events in the world, organised biannually in Munich. The event brings together logistics professionals from all over the world, providing a comprehensive look at the latest developments in logistics, transport and supply chains.

Today

The fair showcases the latest innovations and solutions, functioning as a meeting point for transport companies, port operators, shipping companies and technology developers. The programme also includes expert speeches and discussions concerning current challenges and future outlooks in the field.

Port of Turku is present at the fair, this year as well, on 2–5 June. At the same booth, you can also meet the representatives of our partners Turku Free Zone Company, FREJA and Scandic Transit.

Significance of co-operation and visibility

“Transport Logistic is the most important event for our field in Europe, which is why it is important to be there with Port of Turku to provide information about our service packages and options in international logistics”, says Matti Urmas, Managing Director of FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy.

The stand will highlight the central location, efficient connections and sustainable solutions of Port of Turku that correspond to the needs of the ever-changing field of logistics.

Turku Free Zone Company has for decades shared a booth with Port of Turku and other actors. Managing Director Stefan Lindström talks about the major significance of shared booths, especially at larger fairs like this.

“We are small players in the big world, but when we team up for these fairs, we get significantly more visibility with markedly smaller costs. We have a lot of shared customers that visit these fairs, and it just brings more fairgoers and visitors to our booth in general. At the same time, we can offer and discuss bigger packages by having partners from different segments but from the same port.”

Mikael Löfqvist, CEO of Scandic Trans, highlights the importance of shared participation as well.

“We think that a shared booth gives us all better visibility. We are grateful that Port of Turku brings us all together and takes charge of the arrangements.”

Antti Pekanheimo, Chief Operating Officer of Port of Turku, thinks that having a shared booth at trade fairs strengthens co-operation and facilitates wider visibility by having a larger stand, while remaining cost-effective.

“However, the most important thing is that, at a shared booth, the customer can easily meet all port actors during one visit.”

Welcome to our booth 321/422 in hall B3 to discuss, exchange ideas and create new opportunities for collaboration!
